Pete Mikaya was born in Africa from the country of Malawi, and came to America in his younger years. He uses local ingredients to bring world flavors to his masses alongside his experience of being a chef for 19 yers in the culinary world.
Pete uses Chiltepin peppers, the only wild native chili to the US. The Chiltepin is sometimes called the "Mother of all peppers"
