Through donations to our Pay It Forward program we are able to sell this meat at cost, making it more accessible to our customers.

Hehlden Farm is a local family farm that raises chickens and pork. Chickens are pastured with a bottomless coop. They grow the feed for their pigs on the farm reducing their carbon footprint and maximizing their self-reliance and waste. They are going to try pasturing some of their pigs in 2021.

Christina Hehleden has learned a lot from her family's farm that has been around for 135 years. SHe's preparing to take over the farm and it will be the first time in the farm's history tat it was led by a woman.
